A loving way to pay tribute or memorialize family, friends or a beloved pet is by contributing to Assisi Animal Foundation in their name.
Looking for a special way to recognize someone you care for during special life events such as birthdays, anniversaries or a graduation? Special tributes to Assisi Animal Foundation in their name show you honor those who have a heart for the homeless. All contributions received are used immediately to provide a lifesaving second chance to homeless cats and dogs. Your loving kindness offers love, life and hope to hundreds of frightened and abandoned pets who are struggling alone and longing to find a forever home.
As we age or our circumstances change, it can be of concern to think of what will happen to our beloved pets. It is wonderful if family or friends can provide for pet, but sometimes this is impossible. At the Assisi Animal Foundation, we do offer Continuing Care for your pets if you become unable to care for them at some point. Your pet will live out its natural life in comfort and be well taken care of, so you can rest assured, and enjoy peace of mind. Please contact us for more information on this program.
Please consider including Assisi Animal Foundation in your will trust or as a life insurance beneficiary. When talking with your Estate Planner make sure they know we are a 501 C-3 not for profit organization and that they specify “Assisi Animal Foundation, Crystal Lake, IL” as there are many Not for Profit Organizations called Assisi, it is important to specify us by location as well as name. We understand that there are many people who would love to adopt a pet, but may be unable to care for one in their home, so we offer our Armchair Adoption program. The animal lives at the shelter and the adopter receives letters and photos of their pet. The fee for this is only $15 a month ($180 a year). In the event that their pet is adopted to a qualified home another pet will be made available and you will be notified. You may stop your participation at any time with no obligation, just let us know. For more information on this program and to become an Armchair pet parent, please click here:
